The Holidays – The Most Magical Time On The Emerald Coast

The Emerald Coast is a wonderful place to experience some holiday magic!

We have all enjoyed the Thanksgiving holiday with friends and loved ones, and now it is on to the Christmas Season. All along 30A and The Emerald Coast, various communities really come alive with holiday magic. Now is the perfect time to tour around and take in the ambiance. The crowds are a lower, the temperatures more cool and dry, the perfect time to bundle up and stroll through Seaside. The Trees surrounding the amphitheater and along 30A are all lit up, as well as a glorious Christmas tree is erected in the center. Stop by Amavida for some coffee or hot chocolate, or grab a hot grilled cheese sandwich from MeltDown on 30A.

Another favorite Christmas destination is Rosemary Beach. All of the trees in Barrett Square and Town Center are absolutely covered in beautiful Christmas lights, and a huge Christmas Tree is placed right in front of Rosemary Town Hall. There is a plethora of wonderful shops to find that special something for friends and loved ones. Be sure to stop by La Crema for some hot chocolate and something sweet, or grab a festive adult beverage in the Havanna Bar at the Pearl.

On your way from Seaside to Rosemary Beach, you will most assuredly pass through Alys Beach. Passing between the white pyramid markers indicating the entrance to the community, the long line of palm trees along the side of the road covered in Christmas lights, and the candles and wreaths in between them, certainly will get you in the Christmas spirit. They Alys Beach Christmas tree is located front and center on 30A and is adorned with all red ornaments. Quite a site to see.

These are just a few of the many communities from Destin through Inlet Beach that have beautiful sights to see, shops to peruse, and good things to eat during the holidays.
