Noche De Los Muertos at Caliza: The premier Halloween event in the area is held at Caliza Pool in Alys Beach. This party is for guests 21 and over, and starts at 8:00PM and goes until midnight. Tickets are $20 online at www.alysbeachevents.ticketleap.com, or $30 at the door. Costumes are REQUIRED, but prizes for best costumes will be handed out. There is a DJ, Dancing, and cash bars for spooky fun! This is always an event to remember.
Witches Ride: Each year a group of women gather at Gulf Place on 30A dressed as witches and ride their bikes to raise money for CVHN. The ride starts at 7:00AM sharp on Friday, October 30th. The ride takes the witches down 30A to the Dune Allen beach access where the witches will wave to the children at Butler Elementary School. This event has grown in popularity, and each year more and more witches join the ride. It benefits a good cause, and all of the participants have a wonderful time. There are all sorts of social events leading up to and after the ride that participants can enjoy. If you see them riding around, be sure to wave, and donate to their cause.
